Why Craft on Shivratri?

Shivratri is a significant Hindu festival celebrated with great fervor across the country. It marks the marriage anniversary of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is believed to be the night when Lord Shiva performed the divine dance of creation, preservation, and destruction. It is a time for prayer, reflection, and spiritual awakening.

Crafting on Shivratri serves multiple purposes:

  1. Express Devotion: Creating art inspired by Lord Shiva is a beautiful way to express your devotion and reverence towards the divine.
  2. Family Bonding: It provides an opportunity for families to come together, share stories and legends associated with Lord Shiva, and create lasting memories.
  3. Educational: Engaging in craft activities centered around Shivratri can help children learn about the significance of the festival in a hands-on and enjoyable manner.

Happy crafting and Har Har Mahadev!
